# TierNation: full content

> TierNation is a Minecraft Java Edition PvP tier list. Players are ranked from High Tier 1 (best) to Low Tier 5 in 20 gamemodes after live test matches against the site's testers, and every result is public. Premium and cracked players can be ranked, results are posted on the community Discord server, and a free Fabric mod shows players' tiers in game.

## How tiers work

- Every gamemode has its own tier list. Tier 1 is the best and Tier 5 the lowest; inside each tier, players are High (HT), Mid (MT) or Low (LT). So the order is HT1, MT1, LT1, HT2, … LT5.
- An R in front (RHT1) marks a retired ranking: the player earned it but no longer plays that mode.
- Overall points add up the best tier a player has reached in each gamemode. Points decide the overall leaderboard and the player's title.
- HT3 and above need a moderator to approve the result before it's published.

## How to get tested

1. **Join our Discord**: Everything happens in our one Discord server: the queues, tickets and results.
2. **Link your Minecraft name**: Use /link with your name and pick premium or cracked. Premium players confirm ownership with a one-time skin check. Cracked players can't use names that belong to premium accounts.
3. **Pick your ping roles**: Choose the gamemodes you want to be pinged for. When a tester for that mode comes online, the queue opens and you get pinged.
4. **Join the queue**: Press Join queue and pick your region. When you reach #1, a private ticket opens with your tester.
5. **Fight your test**: Low tiers are usually first to 6. High tiers (HT3 and up) are longer sets and need a moderator to approve the result.
6. **Get your tier**: Your result is posted in the results channel and shows on this site right away. You can retest a gamemode after a 30-day cooldown.

## The mod

A free, client-side Fabric mod that shows players' TierNation tiers above their heads, in the Tab list and in chat, with a /tiers <player> command. It needs Fabric Loader, Fabric API and ukulib. Download: https://tiernation.club/download

## Public API

Read-only JSON at https://tiernation.club/api/v2, no key, open CORS, compatible with MCTiers and TierTagger. Per IP per minute: 120 requests, 60 bulk lookups. Answers are cached for a minute. Credit TierNation with a link where the data is shown.

- `GET /api/v2/mode/list`: Every active gamemode: id, title, colour
- `GET /api/v2/mode/{mode}?from=&count=`: One gamemode's tier list, as { "1": [...], …, "5": [...] }
- `GET /api/v2/overall?from=&count=`: The overall leaderboard (points, position, title)
- `GET /api/v2/profile/{uuid}`: A player by premium or offline (cracked) UUID, dashed or not
- `GET /api/v2/profile/by-name/{name}`: A player by Minecraft name
- `GET /api/v2/profile/{uuid}/rankings`: Just a player's tiers
- `POST /api/v2/profile/bulk`: Up to 100 players at once: { "players": [uuid or name, …] }
