Accessibility statement

1. Our aim

We want everyone to be able to use TierNation. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

2. What we do

• Pages use proper headings, labels and landmarks, and work with a keyboard.
• The large animations (the home page title and ribbons, and the 3D skins) stop when your system asks for reduced motion.
• Tiers are always written out (for example "HT3"), not shown by colour alone.
• The site works on phones and with zoom up to 200%.

3. Known issues

• The 3D skin viewer and some decorative effects can't be used with a screen reader; the same information is given as text.
• Some low-contrast text in the dark theme may be hard to read.
• The soft glow that follows the mouse pointer doesn't yet switch off with reduced motion.
• The Discord bot and the mod depend on Discord's and Minecraft's own accessibility.
