Community Rules
In short
Play fair, be yourself, be decent. These rules apply on the website, in the API and the mod, on our Discord server and in every test. Breaking them can lead to voided tiers, cooldowns or a ban.
1. Fair play
- No cheats, hacked clients, macros, auto-clickers, unfair mods or exploits in tests, and no client settings or texture packs the testers forbid.
- Don't throw, fix or arrange a test, trade results, or bribe or pressure a tester.
- No account sharing or boosting: the person tested must be the account owner, playing themselves.
- Follow the format, region and server the tester sets, and don't leave or stall to dodge a result.
2. Your identity
- Claim only your own Minecraft name. Don't impersonate players, testers, staff or creators.
- One account per person. No alts to get around a ban, a cooldown or a tier.
- Don't use a cracked name that belongs to someone's premium account.
3. Respect
- No harassment, threats, bullying, hate speech or discrimination, including about tiers or test results.
- No doxxing: never share someone's personal information.
- No sexual content, and nothing involving minors that is inappropriate.
- Treat testers with respect. If you disagree with a result, use the appeal process, not insults.
4. The Service
- Don't attack, overload, scrape heavily, probe or try to break into the Service or its accounts.
- Don't spam queues, tickets, pings or requests, or abuse reports and appeals.
- Use the API and the mod as their terms allow; see API and mod terms.
- Don't post malware, scams, phishing links or illegal content, or advertise without permission.
5. Testers and staff
- Test honestly and consistently, judge every player by the same standard, and declare any conflict of interest (for example, testing a friend or a rival).
- Keep player data private, use staff tools only for their purpose, and never share another player's information.
- Never take payment or favours for tests or tiers.
- Follow these rules yourself. Staff who break them lose their role.
6. Other rules that apply
You must also follow the Discord Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, the Minecraft End User Licence Agreement and Usage Guidelines, and the rules of any server you test on.
7. What happens if you break the rules
Depending on how serious it is: a warning, removal of content, a voided or reset tier, a cooldown, removal from queues, a hidden profile, or a temporary or permanent ban of your account and Minecraft name. Staff may lose their role. We can act on behaviour outside the Service when it affects players' safety or the fairness of the tier list. See Moderation and appeals for how decisions are made and how to appeal.
