Moderation and appeals

In short

People, not algorithms, decide tiers and bans. Anyone can report illegal content or rule-breaking. If we act against you, we tell you why, and you can appeal to someone who wasn't involved.

1. How decisions are made

  • Tiers are given by testers after a test. High tiers (HT3 and above) are checked by a moderator before they're published.
  • Moderators can void published results, review name changes and ban players. Admins manage roles and testers. Every staff action is recorded in an audit log.
  • Some checks are automatic (for example, whether a cracked name belongs to a premium account, or whether a premium claim was verified in time), but every ban and every tier is decided by a person.
  • We act on our Terms and Community Rules, consistently and in proportion to the problem, considering the rights and interests of everyone involved.

2. Reporting content or behaviour

To report something on the Service that you think is illegal or breaks our rules (a player, a result, a name, a profile or a message), contact us at [email protected]. Please include:

  • where it is (a link, a player name or a screenshot);
  • why you think it's illegal or against the rules (for illegal content, which law, if you know);
  • your name and email, unless you're reporting child sexual abuse material, which you may report anonymously;
  • that you believe in good faith that the report is accurate and complete.

We confirm we've received reports, look at them promptly and carefully, and tell you what we decided. Copyright complaints follow Copyright and takedowns. We may ignore reports that are clearly unfounded, and stop handling reports from people who often send them.

3. When we act against you

If we void your result, hide or remove your content, restrict your account or ban you, we'll tell you, in Discord or by the contact you gave us, what we did, why (the facts and the rule or law), whether automated checks were involved, how long it lasts, and how to appeal. We may not explain in full if that would break the law or put someone at risk, and may not tell you before acting when there's an urgent safety or security reason.

If something suggests a threat to someone's life or safety, we may tell the authorities.

4. Appealing a decision

  • You can appeal any decision about you, or about a report you made, within 6 months. Open a ticket in our Discord server or contact us at [email protected], and say what you disagree with and why.
  • Appeals are reviewed by a moderator or admin who wasn't involved in the original decision. We aim to answer within 14 days and tell you the outcome and the reason.
  • For test results, the usual remedy is a retest by a different tester; we may also void, restore or change the tier.
  • If you live in the EU, you can also take a dispute to a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body under the Digital Services Act, or go to court. Appealing to us doesn't affect those rights.

5. Misuse of reports and appeals

If someone often posts clearly illegal content or often sends clearly unfounded reports or appeals, we may suspend them, or stop handling their reports, for a reasonable time, after a warning.

6. Point of contact for authorities

Authorities, including EU member state authorities and the European Commission, can reach us at [email protected], in English.
